Debate
Wow yesterday was tiring. O_o
My first debate tournament! I had to get up at 5am and we got to the tournament at 8am. I didn't get home until 10pm, and I was absolutely worn out by then.
It was pretty fun.
The first round was horrible though. >.> So Shriya went up and gave her speech, and then sat down. Then this Chinese guy get's up to say his speech, opens his mouth and speaks SO DARN FAST we couldn't even catch everything he said. According to Shriya, all she did was just watch him the entire 4 minutes- no notes- no comprehension. I took some really vague notes, but I couldn't come up with arguments against any of them. They crushed us during every crossfire and kept claiming our evidence had no proof and that it was anecdotal and that we weren't arguing against their contentions at all. IT WAS HORRIBLE. Shriya and I both admitted later that we wanted to just quit halfway through.
"k, no, whatever, you win, bye."
Yeah, it was bad.
The second round was much better. -.- Part of the reason was because instead of two tall, intimidating as anything guys we were up against two girls. I think it went pretty evenly, but the judge said they won. Whatever.
The third round... haha, we crushed them like the first round people crushed us. They were completely docile during the entire thing. I felt a little guilty, mostly when I actually used some of the same things the first round people did against us. Two girls.
The fourth round went pretty evenly too, but this one we won. It was up against a tall guy and a girl. The guy kept stuttering, and the girl kinda looked like she hated us during the debate. Like, aggressive.
So yeah. We didn't place. ^^ It was fun though, I suppose... Took all day. *sai*'
Yeah. k, bye.

Whew.
Long, tired days, haha... Things are picking up after the break, and picking up in a huge way. Piano season is coming fast, and on top of that clubs are actually asking things of me, not to mention the obvious school work.
So yup.

Altec returns!
Yes, my computer is fixed! I'm not even sure if I posted it breaking, but it did, about 2 weeks before president was elected. Obama won, btw. lol, yeah, haven't posted in a while huh? I'll try and pick it back up as soon as possible!
But so long for now, got things to do, files to see.

Band Chair
Oh, this is important to note for the future. The reason my self-esteem in band is better is that at first, during the playing test I noticed I posted about below, I did... pretty bad. I got 9th out of 10 chairs. I talked to Mr. Hunter about having more tests (it was a pretty iffy thing), and during the second test I was moved up to 5th. That's still not really good enough to get into Wind Ensemble next year, but it proves that I'm getting better. It's also still not the 1st flute part, but I'm happy with this spot. Until the next test, where I'll get a higher chair than the one I'm in.
Or at least I'll try to.
Or at least I'll try to.
A new addition to the family...
Welcome the viola! =D Yup. I have purchased about the CHEAPEST viola I could find and it is now sitting happily next to me.
I haven't played it yet, and I've had it for a couple weeks.
Haha, yeah, I need to update a LOT. A ...
Nope, still not cussing. It's just not worth it. I'll find other words to use. A lot, okay? I mean, it's been what, a quarter of the school year? And when was my last update? A year ago or something? Gosh. I don't know where to continue. Hmmmmmmmmm.....
My flute playing has gotten better. And my self-esteem, but only when it comes to flute. Otherwise I think it's slipping... e.e But uh, w/e. It builds character. Or something.
Ugh, the lunch line. I hate the lunch lines at Enloe. They take forever... it's like an exponential graph. If you get there under 5 minutes, you'll wait maybe 15 minutes. If you get there within a minute, you'll wait less than a minute. If you get there in 10 minutes, you'll probably stand in line for like 45. It's horrible. Anchors and cutters everywhere. >.> The first day of school, Shannon, Cynthia and I were last in line. I got to eat one chicken leg, and then the bell rang. But at least their food is pretty decent. Compared to Carnage's.
Crap, wow, we've even already had our first band concert. It was 2 days ago. I miss the Carnage auditorium so much! It was so homey, and small, and cozy, and familiar.... This one's so freakin' big. lol, but apparently the Ligon one is bigger. .... Hrm.
Soooo much to talk about.... Okay, well here's my schedule for future me to reference and talk about. I'll list clubs and stuff too.
Price, C&C
Shuford, C&C
Wood, Biology
Chen, Chinese 3
Lunch
Hunter, Symphonic Band
Lyttle, Calc ABBC
Lyttle, Calc ABBC
Clubs: Debate and Beta
And that is it. Signing ofs, siyonara or w/e that good phrase is.
So tired. -.-

Campaign Pet Peeve
I like how people are saying things like 'vote for me in the west gym lobby', as if voters go someplace else to vote for the other runners...

Hrm.
High School's pretty tiring. Having updated in a while. Okay, a quick post. A lot of pretty exciting things are happening for me.
lol, okay, just a lot of ideas for projects. I find that exciting, dunno about everyone else.
First of all, in Civics and Economics we're doing a yearlong revolution essay thing, and I've finally decided my topic, with only a week and 2 days to spare! xD haha, yeah... I was worried about nothing when I panicked 2 days ago, in the media center. Where everyone did research to find a question. I'm doing the Technological Revolution. How. Awesome. Is that. I didn't even know there was a technological revolution! Apparently it was after the industrial. Gosh people, a technological revolution, and you care about industry? Who cares about industry? Gadgets! Games! Tesla. So yeah, I am specifically doing Nikolas Tesla's role in the Technological Revolution. He is an awesome person, but don't look him up, because that's my job. Okay, jk, look him up. Hopefully though, you all know about him already. So yeah. I figure tomorrow I'll ask if that question's specific enough, and if yes, I'll chill for a while. I mean, it's due next year, lol.
Um, we're also doing an almost yearlong experiment in science. He didn't specify, but I think you can do anything, so I'm still trying to come up with something interesting. I don't know what to do though... I thought about doing something with the potency of acid based on ph, but that sounds boring to do stretched out over a year. So still thinking.
Another one, short this one, is in Chinese. We just have to do a weather report on someplace on Friday, and it'll be pretty simple. I've chosen DC, and have the powerpoint basically made. I guess I'll practice a bit tomorrow. Chinese 3 is going pretty well. I can tell I'm learning, and it's a good opportunity to also practice for CCS.
Band... I hadn't played flute all summer, you know, and... Gosh. We have a playing test tomorrow, I'm actually practicing RIGHT now, and this test is going to assign our chairs and everything. =\ So nervous, but I'm sure I'll do okay. My flute playing has gradually recovered to about the point where it was last year... exactly after I got my braces. lol, so still bad.
Okay. That covers everything major. G'night and WISH ME LUCK.

School!
I was just reminded of that scene in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs where a giant pancake falls on the school, followed by two chunks of melting butter and syrup, which the evacuating kids respond to by all yelling out: "No school!" all happy like. =D
So. School.
It was amazing. Amazing technically doesn't have to be a good thing. God, when I got out of 2nd period I had to shuffle along with a sea of people trying to get around the atrium. It was so stinkin slow. And it stinked. But I like all of my teachers. Except my band teacher. I'll probably warm up to him, but I just don't think he's interesting enough to be a band teacher. >.> First period's awesome. It's writing, and with Price. She's wacko. Which is pretty cool. Funny too. I think it'll be fun. And the second period of C&C is headed by Shuford. Uh, Mr. Shuford. I don't think he likes, just, Shuford. He's a little strong. Like, uh, stubborn. Something like that. Strong in his opinions on how things are. Debating is going to be a blast in his class. I think he's a bit of a nerd too. So he's cool. Third period I have biology with Mr. Wood. He has 3 or 4 snakes in his class. So I automatically like him. He also has 2 tanks of fish and a lizard. And a stuffed squirrel. Yeah... he collects roadkill. As long as it's not too dead! lol. Okay. After that, I have Chinese with Mr. Chen. Chinese... 3.
Hate that.
But nothing I can do about it, so I might as well just do my best in the class. It's a class of 17, so I think it'll be a nice break from ... uh, big classes. He says it'll be tough though. I dunno. (Ooh, I'll stop myself here to put in that Mr. Shuford actually said he might give us all C's on a quiz... just so that we see how it feels and get over it...) (lol, but I still like him) Okay. So yeah. And then we go to lunch. Oh, I have Chinese with Shannon and Cynthia. Uh, I'll not do anymore of the names though. Stalkers are about... Okay, lunch! It was horrible. lol, the line reached the opposite end of the cafeteria and we were in the back. No names. So it took 45 minutes to get lunch, and we had 2 minutes to eat it. I managed to wolf down one chicken leg and a breadstick. And then we- Oh, but it was pretty good. Better than Carnage. Then we were off to band! With our not interesting enough band teacher, Mr. Hunter. I'll have to start practicing again though, we're having playing tests every week... and they're like 50% of your grade. e.e Okay, after that is math. I have class with Lily! Okay, one name there. There are 3 freshmen and 2 seniors in my class. Just thought I'd put that out there. I'm guessing that most of the CalcAB/BC classes are like that, and the CalcAB classes too. Dunno what Matt's taking though... I should ask...
Okay, that... not yet.
There's still more. So I'm being taught by Mr. Lyttle, I think. Pronounced 'little', I know that. He's kinda old, but it's not a bad thing, and I think he's probably going to be a good teacher. However, he hasn't reviewed the Calc BC material for 30 years.... And now we go to the bus loop! It's seriously crowded. And if you're not Yao Ming, you can't find anyone easily without a bit of patience and luck. And pushing. Also, our bus was overcrowded, so we got stuck at Enloe waiting for a bus that never came to split us up. Never came, once again. So we waited over an hour for nothing. Other than that, it was norm. I walked home from the bus stop, which was pretty annoying, because of the dang Sun, but that's out of school now.
Phew. 9:00 now. I should start my hw. ^^

School in a week!
Just needed something for the title, I don't think I'll be talking about that.
So.
Back!
Yup.
Oh that's tiring to write and read.
Kinda ...
slow.
And plus it's double spaced.
*shivers*'
I hate double spacing.
....
Okay! So we did NOT go to the beach. I never saw it. However, we did revisit Busch Gardens and Water Country USA (We hope you enjoy your day at Water Country USA!). Oh god that was annoying the 12th time. So yeah. I finally rode the Griffin! =D You know, the rollar coster that brings you hundreds of feet in the air and then drops you all the way down at 90 degrees. Apparently you leave the track... And then in Water Country USA (We hope you enjoy your day at Water Country USA!) there was a new slide called the Vanish Point. Named so because you step into a pill shaped canister, then are dropped (the floor falls out), and scream. Yeah, screaming's mantatory. Not that anyone can here you. >.> You know, since you're in a sealed container. Woah. I typed out the wrong hear. O_o That. Has never happened before. To my knowledge. So yeah. After that the speed's incredible and you're whipped around before finally being shot out into the standard water slide tube end.
Yup.
Alright, gotta sleep.

Beach
Yep. We're going to the beach. (that stupid song keeps playing in my head every time I think 'beach' o_o) And we'll be there for ... uh, I think 3 days. At Busch Gardens. Is that how it's spelled? And the water park that's close by. And Washington D.C., to drop off my cousin at her new resident living place, where she'll live until her studies are over.
...
So.... avoid this site for the next couple of days, no?
Dunno if I should post my schedule here. I guess it wouldn't hurt.
One moment.
Doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo- Doo! Dododododo-doo-doo-...
Okay, enough of that.
C&C with Price-O'Neal
C&C with Shuford
Biology with Wood
Chinese 3 with Chen
Lunch
Band with Hunter
Calc AB with Lyttle
Calc AB with Lyttle
And then Calc BC instead of AB for the second semester.
Okay, bye!

Ah well..
I came here to update, but I have nothing to update. Also, my one hour break ends in two minutes. Yes. I am trying to be...
*leans close and whispers*'
Productive.
Amazing, isn't it? I wrote out the schedule last night, at 11:30, and today at 7:30 I started carrying it out, and I've actually followed it! Followed it! Just stupendous! Haha, no one says that word... I was going to awaken at 7, but I persuaded myself to start the day at... ugh, break over.
Well, ttyl, gotta do 'activity'. Like, productive stuff that's not math or piano... That's basically what that means.
....
Bye.

Go Congress
Woo-hoo! My first Go Congress. It was amazing. And I'm not just saying that because I won first for the 4k level of the US Open. Which I did. xD Can't say I feel too bad about that. I was sure I was going to get second though, because William Xu beat Eric Backus, who beat me. He also beat Jason... Preuss? I think that's it. I wanted to play Jason. =\... Well, yeah. My loss to Eric was the only one I had for the Open, and William's one loss... idk. But the questionable tiebreaking system deemed me the winner. Dunno. Jason was first, but then William and some one else, I think a 2k, beat him, so he ended up 4th. Eric 3rd, William 2nd.
Yeah. It was so fun! Nothing but playing go and being around go-playing people all day. Which means lots of go jokes. And for the banquet/ending-ceremony/prizesgivingtime, someone sang a wei-qi version of Call Me Maybe. I don't think there was louder clapping for anything else. (It was written by someone at the congress for a contest, and called Tesuji Maybe.) Kinda nerdy... I suppose... but still awesome, and hilarious. Completely hilarious.
We didn't sleep at the dorms provided at the congress though, we rented a house about 10 minutes away and ate breakfast at the congress, everyday from 7:30 to 9:00, at which time we would start our US Open game of the day (6 total). Then, starting at 10:00, there'd be lectures and game reviews with pros. Real, live, awesome pros. And they're hilarious too. People normally flinch at the word 'lecture', but these were fun. And educational. xD So yeah, then there'd be lunch from 11:30 (at which time the morning lecture would end) to 1:00pm, and after that they'd start another lecture for those who don't feel like or don't qualify for the tournaments of the day. There'd be stuff everyday till night like speed go, 9x9 go, 13x13 go, crazy go, youth speed go, youth insert-all-other-variations-here go, and yeah. Oh, and I'd like to mention one day my US Open game actually took until 1:00pm. -.- I played a 4 hour game and MISSED lunch. Missed it! By nothing! Like, I went to the lecture room to find my teacher and the 3 other classmates with us and Alvin asked why I wasn't eating, then I ran out to the cafeteria and everything was gone. Amazingly. But at least I won that game. Kinda sucked for the other guy. He played a super long game only to lose, and then missed lunch for it.
Uh.. so yeah. There was also midnight madness everyday at 11:00pm, but we didn't go to any of those. Can't play go when you're tired. That's why it's called madness. Crazy go I skipped out on too, cause there was a lecture going on at the time and David, Alvin and Alex wanted to go to that, and I held the phone, so while Jeff (Kuang) (my teacher) was doing volunteer stuff, I had to stick with them. I heard a lot about it though. There was stuff like
Magnet Go: where a placed stone would drag a opposite color stone one space closer and push the same color one space farther
Blind Go: go played just by saying coordinates (go's on a 19x19 board O.o)
One-Color Go: go played with one color (whoa, seriously?) (oh, and I tried this, it's pretty hard)
3-D Go: Go played on a 7x7x7 wire grid where you hang the stones on hooks (really wish I could've seen that)
and probably some others I didn't hear about.
I also got a lot of good ideas for helping my go club start up, and so I think I'll do some research on that, on spreading go and on starting a school club, more specifically at Enloe, where there are SO many clubs already.
Wish me luck!
And I guess I'm happy to be back. It was pretty tiring I suppose. On the first day, I played in the 9x9 tournament, which started at 9pm, and didn't end until after 11. I was doing good in my first 3 games, then I started getting bleary eyed and lost the following 2. ^^ So now that I'm home, I'm just going to catch up in my piano and stuff, and then sleep. Just. Sleep.
But first I had to update my blog, of course. I have so many minecraft videos to watch now! =D So... later. Ooh, and I also won a 9x9 board that's also a 4 piece puzzle, and the entire season of Fruits Basket. Okay, so the DVDs might've been participation. I also got this Super Pentominoes puzzle from participation in the Wisonet Cup, which... sucked. It was an open comp, so there wasn't any handicaps... Everyone I went up against was at least 2 ranks above mine. I still won my last game though (against a 1k). So it's okay. Wisonet was, like, the states vs each other, except there was only 6 teams and 2 of them were California. California 2 won first, and California 1 won second. NC placed last. ^_^
Also, Wednesday was our day off, and I went with my family (who came for that day) to go zip-lining in the mountains. Okay, so it was only my dad, my cousin Anne and I. But still enough to have fun. Also, before the ending banquetceremonything, the group that was there went horse-backriding for an hour just to waste time. We missed the youth-pizza party, but I think horse-back riding's worth it. And then on the way back, just around noon today, we stopped by Grand-Father mountain and toured the bridge and animal sites there for like an hour.
Okay... that's enough rambling. See you guys in school! Hopefully! OMG GOTTA GO CHECK MY SCHEDULE I FORGOT AH!

OH YOUR GOD YOUTUBE WHY?!?!
O_O OKAY. WHAT THE HECK.
So youtube's been taking a REALLY long time loading videos lately (computer overuse), so I've been trying for 3 hours to watch this one 15:41 minecraft video, and it's seriously pissing me off when it stops every 5 seconds and loads up another 5 in the next minute. So I've been productive as I wait, finishing all of my chinese homework for the rest of summer (I was on the last page =P), playing a game online of go (victory!), and there were still like 2 minutes left. I also procrastinated a TON with the work. So I went and played some piano, and decided to stop at .. well, at a good place. So when I was done, I rushed over here, sure that the video was over and I'd have to see whether or not it'd buffer again on replay, when I see credits rolling, so I was like O_o and as fast as I could, clicked the pause button. It was pretty fast, I didn't miss it or something stupid like that. But I was too late.
And the video was stuck, paused, on a commercial. The annoying '5 seconds until you can skip this video' tab wasn't counting down. And I couldn't even press play. I suppose I have to refresh the thing now...

The Three Musketeers
The newish movie, you know? First of all, awesome movie. Watched it a week or 2 ago. But second of all, my main point. The soundtrack is amazing. Love the heavy accents and string instruments and stuff. Dunno, it just sounds really impressive. I like exciting music, with a good base (bass?) and a thick and obvious theme. I think. Not really the music theory expert. But yeah. Makes it sorta ironic that I chose flute as my band instrument.

Oh, and it reminds a lot like Pirates of the Caribbean (the music). The lines are hilarious as well.

Stupidity
So... there was this mosquito. On my dad. And so I just stared at it, wondering if I'd be fast enough, and then I hit it.
Hard. Worst thing is, I think I missed.
He's pissed.

TO BOBBY (minor spoilers)
Thank you. Your adventures were amazing. Although I guess I should say they are amazing. Time won't age a book. Haha... yes it will.
Sorry. Don't know what to say.
It wasn't one of those endings blasting me off my feet with amazing turns and a cliffhanger that would never be finished. It was simple. Perfect. Completely Bobby Pendragon. Everything fit. Everything was as it should be. And I'm still completely confused, I've gotta say. But in a good way!
I just can't believe it's over. I remember picking up my first Pendragon book, reading through it, and hating it. Have to write the truth, right? It was months later when I came across the second. Austin was a pretty big fan of Pendragon, as far as I know, and I think that motivated me once again to give Pendragon a shot. I'm so glad I did. Cloral blew me off my feet. Amazing is one word to describe it. Outstanding, uplifting and vast are some more. I'm talking about the place, I suppose. The story was great too. Ugh, great doesn't begin to describe it. I guess you'll have to read it to find out.
And 8 books later... it's complete.
Before I end this, I'd like to give a shout-out to Tarun, who gave me a spoiler on the last book and completely irked me all the way through to the last page when everything made sense and everything was fixed and I no longer had to worry about that annoying little blip constantly reminding me that that spoiler was creeping closer and closer and-
Yeah. I think it was okay though. This is the way it was meant to be. Okay, had to google that. Ha, even now huh? But yeah. That's it. No more Bobby. No more Robert. God, that's strange. That was the spoiler, by the way.
And okay. I think that's about it. This is really it. I'm never going to see these words again, never going to laugh at a new adventure with Bobby at the lead. But I'm not done with the travelers just yet. So, as Spader would say:
Hobey-ho, let's go!

Summer School
Yup. Taking Health A and B. >.> If you thought I was doing anything else *cough*retakingfailedgrade*cough*', well, you ..
No one really fails.
...
Gosh, I'm out of practice or something, this isn't going right. Anyways, taking health, yeah. Boring as ... Okay, that's another topic I need to discuss later. Not sure if i should make a separate post for that. Or maybe i should make it like journals, like Bobby Pendragon does =D, and btw that's another topic to talk about-
First summer school. Health. Well, ...
I haven't written anything in like two weeks.
BACK TO HEALTH. Two parts. Academic, and physical. I don't know which side I detest more. The academic part is boring. Extremely boring. Nothing but fast-paced and pretty much common sense book work. For three hours, split into two periods of two and one. The physical side, on the other hand.... Well, I'm just bad at that. e.e Let's not go too far into detail. But you have to run 1.75 miles in 16 minutes to get 100 in the cardio test... and I can't do that. ^^ There's also pushups (Boys have to do 42 and girls 21 xD) and situps (like, around 50) and stretching. No clue how that's measured. But that's the one place where girls have to do better.
Alright, health really isn't that interesting, so let's move on.
A bunch of people are in China, another huge group in India, and the rest seem to be in summer school. Not to be racist. Or uh, schoolist or something.
Oh, and that wasn't what I was going to talk about. Cussing. =\ Idk, I've never wanted to cuss. Ever. Like, when I'm angry, I want to hit pillows, not say words that mean bad things. That's just weird to me. I guess it grows as a reflex. But it is ... important. Kind of. It's another way of expressing yourself. And in movies/booksforolderpeople, things are really considered serious until there's some cussing floating around. And plus, there are SO MANY idioms with cussing. Or maybe cussing is considered idioms. Dunno. Don't care. But I love idioms. lol. Kinda a bad reason I suppose. But it's still a reason.
AND NOW WE CAN TALK ABOUT THE AMAZING BOBBY PENDRAGON OMG. Yup, finally made a trip to the library, and I feel so refreshed! And by refreshed I mean I once again spend 2-3 (I totally made that up) hours a day with my head in a book. James (guy in Health) had to call my name and drag me out of the book before I realized the teacher had given instructions, and that the class minus me was getting up for papers.
Now I call that a good book.
There was also a VERY big surprise in it. Which is obviously a spoiler. But it wasn't related to the story or plot at all. It was just EXTREMELY surprising. As in, put the book down and just look dazed for a minute surprising. Know what it was? 8D You're not going to!
Whether I start cussing or not, I will forever stand by my standards. No spoilers. Ever. x)
Alright that's it. Leave.
No one really fails.

I feel sick. e.e
Don't eat blueberries and watch youtube videos while being blown by constant cold air in an already cold air-conditioned room.
It makes your stomach hurt. e.e

Netflix
I gave Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood a 5 star ranking, and Netflix proceeded to ask me how often I watched things that are exciting and violent. I put often for the first one... ignored the second.
The answer's often though, I have to admit. ^_^
But I'm not admitting it. -.-

Mood swings.
Mood swings EVERYWHERE. O_O
But seriously. -.- I'm getting a bit irritated with myself. Which probably hints at what kind of swing I'm in at the moment. xD Probably not the best kind of swing to send emails and chat, I guess. Oh well. *shrug*' Maybe I'm just stupid.
Haha, that was completely unrelated. True or not.
So... how's life, huh? Oh god, I've seen that Nina scene 3 times now, and countless references. IT'S CREEPING ME OUT. AND IT'S NOT EVEN THAT CREEPY. e.e
Alright, done with caps. It's annoying with shift, having to release for 's. But "s just make it look sloppy. And caps lock is for wimps.
...are you a wimp? -.-
... Geez, probably wasn't the best swing to write a post either. I think it's wearing off now though. Haha, so strange. I'm hoping this stops when school starts. Two months from now. >.<
Oh and btw, I started and finished Fullmetal Alchemist while I was away from Quiver. Ah, the productivity is simply amazing around here. xD And I started Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. I just can't get used to Alphonse's voice. I'm sure I will though. And they colored lines! =D
lol, nvm. Alright, l8r.

Nilch
I have no clue why something off of WoW forums is in my vocab. >.> I thought it was nilch, anyways. Apparently it's zip, nadda, zilch. O_O HAHA. I typed zelda instead of zilch at first. I was just typing and saw the word zelda come out and was like wth...
Anyways... yeah. I guess I have another hypothesis as to where the word nilch came from. People who mis-remember zilch.
This was a boring post.

I now have six. SIX. I bet you couldn't name the sixth one. -.- I've never heard of it. It looks perverted. I'm gonna name it now, so don't read ahead if you're actually gonna guess... lol, doubt you will.

A browser worse than IE.

PBELOL and Youtube
Haha, this has been a truly tough week for my computer. *patpat*' But we've made it! And everything's back! =D So, we've had a couple of problems, all caused by updating, of course. Prak has this awesome minecraft server up, and I wanted a skin, but when I downloaded WinRAR to put the skin in (which didn't work on multiplayer anyway), it also affected me downloading the PBE for LoL <--an online game. And I downloaded the updated version of firefox, which apparently doesn't support the new version of Adobe, or maybe it's the other way around, I really don't care; I'm sticking with the new Firefox, and my youtube video consumption plummeted. Until I figured out that I could still watch them on Chrome. But using two browsers is annoying (says the girl with 5 browsers open and a use for each), because you have to move the bookmarks around, and you have a different email account for each, because in order to have multis you need multiple emails-*COUGHCOUGH*'.
Changing subject. Anyways, everything's fixed. I uninstalled WinRAR (after setting the skin back to normal) and changed Adobe to version 10.3, which is supported, and I am now... happy. =) Do I seem happy? Probably not too much... Well, I'm happy. And I will be for the next 5 minutes.
I'm off to watch more youtube now!

The end has come.
And passed. School is over! And I can't say I'm too happy about it. A lot has passed between before the fieldtrip and now. The fieldtrip, for one. We also got our yearbooks, had fieldday, graduation, and the semi-formal, you know, the dance. Thing. So, one at a time.
Fieldtrip:
Man, that was FAR too early for my taste. >.> Me and... Kyla and I were up pretty late (SHHH, don't tell our parents...) and the next morning wasn't quite morning enough. What, did we wake at like 4 or something? I think it was 4:20. Somewhere around there. I was exhausted before the thing even began. But I guess I started to wake up once we got to school and got to see all of those bright, happy faces... wait, wrong school. Wrong time. Wrong fieldtrip plan. All we did was walk around and see the memorials (haha, okay, more like run past the memorials), and then look at random museums- and you couldn't pick which museum you want, it's up to your group and -more likely- your chaperone. Eventually everyone just filed into the Air and Space museum, which was closest to our bus pickup place. I won't say it was horrible, because it wasn't. It was pretty loose with security in the museum, and mostly we had free rein to do whatever we wanted with whoever we wanted.. ooh, that doesn't sound right. The point is, it was like recess. Ish. If you normally had recess with most of your grade in a giant museum filled with planes. And random people. In D.C. For about 3 hours.
Anyway, (is it anyway or anyways?) after that we all went back to the bus and ... well, we left. We had dinner at the mall food court somewhere in Virginia, then got back to North Carolina, Raleigh, Carnage Middle School, Bus loop at... I think it was 1. In the morning. >.< I swear, I hobbled off the bus. Literally. But it was fun. ^_^
Yearbooks:
We got our yearbooks. Want me to describe every step we took to get them? Didn't think so. MOVING ON!
Fieldday:
(okay, honestly, yearbooks weren't that interesting, I didn't skip anything)
So fieldday. Uh, there was part un and part deux. Part un was in the morning and the staff did nothing but shove us all outside at the same time. For about an hour. More or less. We played freeze tag. =P Part deux was in the afternoon, and by now we've pretty much all gotten our yearbooks, so I just ran around with that and a pen getting siggys. The staff put out a radio, or speakers, something (couldn't see it), and a humongous crowd was surrounding the music and dancing. Safe to say I wasn't in it, so I can't tell you much.
Graduation:
Haha... we're highschoolers now. xD I don't feel highschooly though. I guess it'll soak in as Summer passes. Graduation wasn't much. One and a half hours of walking up, shaking with the right, taking with the left, then getting down. No crying yet. That I know of.
Semi-Formal:
Definitely lots of crying here though. Only towards the end. They restricted us with tables and locked doors to only the cafeteria and about two half hallways (yes I know that's a whole, but I don't want to confuse people) (crap, too late). The cafeteria was describable in two adjectives. Dark, and loud. Later, hot would be added in. It was pretty fun though, once there was enough people to always be preoccupied. Just standing there and wondering what to do had to be one of the most awkward things I've ever done. But I guess it was fun.
After that I went to Sarah's and had a sleepover, and then I came home and here I am, typing. Okay, that was 2 days ago. Kind of ironic that I started this blog with a sleepover and ended it with one.
Well, bye! I think I've talked quite enough. Have a great summer!

Testing Finale, School End Schedule, and Minecraft
Testing was indeed over. My pre-calc final was two days ago, Tuesday the 29th, and that was the end of it. No more school-y feeling. It kinda saddens me. :\ Okay, it really saddens me. And now the clock is ticking, and the end is near.
...
Let's back up a little. Last last week I had my French exams. Speaking, Listening and Writing/Reading. I got around 16/20 for speaking, and I don't know about my listening or writing/reading. I think I did okay though. Last week I had EOGs for 3 days, then I prepped and prepped and prepped for that Math Final. I recieved my scores today, and there was one perfect in the class, and guess what! =D It was Prakruth! lol, did you think I was going to say it was me? No, I missed a question- 98. Not that I'm not happy with my score. 98 is pretty good, and I know I understood all of the questions, so I'm happy. I have to admit though, and I'm pretty ashamed of this, I did consider the probability of me getting the one 100 that Mr. Armpriester riled us up with. Like, legitly considered it. Idk, I consider that a bad thing, ego and stuff.
Anyways, that is pretty much everything and we are now in the present. Pretty much. We're also getting our yearbooks on Monday and tomorrow I have a fieldtrip to WASHINGTON DC- AWESOMENESS! yeah, okay, not so awesome. It's raining all day and 10 hours of the day is spent driving back and forth. W/e. Road trip with a bunch of your friends can't be all that bad. I'm looking forward to it. ...I think.
Then on Monday we have field day, Tuesday we have the awards ceremony, and Wednesday.. *breath catches*' Gradu- freakin'- ation! ...That doesn't work. <.< W/e. Yup, graduation and then the Semi-Formal Dance. Geez, reminds me that I need to get a dress this weekend. Yes, I'm wearing a dress. No, I do have dresses already. Yeah, but I just want a longer one. No, they're not super short weird dresses. I just want a longer one. I do grow, you know. Kind of. I mean, I think I am. I hope I am. I don't think I'm growing, it's so sad! My hands need to be bigger! So that I can stretch farther on the piano- ugh!!!
...
Woah. Off topic. Not only off topic, but weird and unorganized thoughts and- Yeah. Yeah, okay.
So, minecraft. I only need to finish off my B1 and 1 floors, get the walls up for floor 2, and do the roof, and I am DONE.
Crap that's a lot. lol, I did say it might go into summer. I'm also starting another project in a different world- a battle arena. Basically I'm just going to clear a giant flat place out, then build a wall around a dark area and play survival. And every time I die, I'll just spawn inside the arena, so no problems. I'll also have a way up the wall so that I can practice shooting. xD With a bow. And arrows. There are no guns in minecraft. Nor will there be... Hopefully................
Yeah, that's it. Bye, I'm off to Kyla's! (cause the bus to DC leaves at 5 sharp and we're going to carpool to it.) (if that makes sense) (no elaboration) (erg, mom's on the phone, might not leave in a while) (PLAY MORE MINECRAFT!!! 8D)

Happy Birthday Quivian!
Today is the last day of May, May 31st! It is also (you can probably tell by the title) my blog's first birthday!!! =D Joyous day! Thanks so much to August Ning for reminding me at school, because 3 days ago I slammed my hand into my face berating myself for forgetting it. Dunno why, I thought the anniversary was the 28th. It was not.
So happy birthday Quivian! May long years of blogging be before us! And if not, then you are one year closer to your imminent shutdown. Just think about that.
Do I sound hyper? I sound mighty cheerful. Bah, it's a birthday post, it's supposed to be cheerful! Let's all be cheerful! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! YAY! *cue streamers and those annoying birthday horn thingys*' 8D
Haha. Yeah, hyper...

Eating apples with braces is like digging straight down in minecraft. >.> Now I have to see the dentist.
Great. JUST. Great.

MinecraftminecrafthouseyminecraftYAY!
Awesome, ain't it? xD Yes, I am building my legit house in Minecraft. Survival mode too, so I'll have to collect all the materials myself. IT'S GOING TO BE SO FUN!!! 8D I have the base down, but man, getting so much sandstone is painful. Not to mention for the carpet, it'll have to be shorn sheep. Lots and lots of naked sheep. And I have no clue what to do for the rooms I've painted... the movie room is a dark blue, but I couldn't find any lapis, and making it out of obsidian would be such a pain. But it'll be fun! If it really takes as long as I think it might, the project might extend into summer. That would be so. Awesome. I'll post pictures of my progress if I make any. Oh, and this view is from the back of my house. I have a basement. (And an attic.) (And two floors.) I'm going to need a lot of sandstone. -.-
If anyone has tips for getting sandstone fast, or a substitute for it, please speak up, preferably before half the house is done. =P I guess that's it for this. Chao! (If that's how you spell it...)

Real World Time
Wow. I just went on the first legit walk I've been on for a long time, and the first thing I did was walk twenty yards away from my house and laugh, then say "Real world. No blocks." Then I laughed a little more and took my walk. This rather disturbs me. 1. Because of the obvious. 2. Because I was talking to myself.
I think I might take another walk tomorrow. =D
I think I might take another walk tomorrow. =D
Plans
Okay. Okay. It's too late today, I'm afraid mom will come down and rat me out again, but tomorrow I WILL do it. Yes. Yes I will. Yeah. Definitely. Tomorrow I WILL play a game of LoL.
Yeah.
I will.
Sure.
>.> Sure...
Yeah.
I will.

201
Woah, that was my 200th post. ................Okay it's not really that exciting, just thought I'd mention it. ...........................bye.
Games and Strings
I have a really serious craving (can you use craving for games?) for some Zelda right now. I HAVE NO CLUE WHY. But I seriously want to play some Zelda right now, it's almost overwhelming. O_O ZELDA...................................
Also, yesterday I started a new world in Minecraft and I decided that I am going to duplicate my house... into Minecraft! =D I've got four stacks of uncut wood and like 3 stacks of cobble, not to mention a dozen golden ore blocks and a lot of iron. (not sure what I'll use that for though, in relation to building the house) And a full set of iron armor. I've never done this good before. O.o Ever. I also found redstone and saw diamond. Somewhere... And I found a dungeon of spiders. I guess this is pretty normal for minecraft players, but just not for me. ^_^
The only unfortunate thing here is that I still have not played what I might consider a 'successful' game of LoL yet. I was going to play today, but then Minecraft... lol, yeah. 'Nuff said. (I also had a recital today.)
OH. Let me rant about that. Haha, I broke a string!
So, from the beginning. It was the DMTA, the Durham Music Teacher Association. Miss Florence wasn't too concerned with the competition, but she did say that it was at Duke, and so was pretty big. Apparently she didn't expect us to win too badly.
Well, it seemed to be dragging behind in the schedule, so I was downstairs in the practice rooms and accidentally stayed there so long my mom had to call me and I rushed in there. Considering I had just run up from the practice rooms, I was pretty warmed up, but a little shocked, and idk, I kept on forgetting tidbits of my songs. O.o Nerves I guess. Then, in the last, really loud section, there was this sharp twang! and I paused for a split second- just long enough to think wth- and finished.
The judge was laughing. He asked if I heard that, and I said yes. He also said it was impressive that I continued. (Yup, this is just going to be a bunch of showing off, your choice on whether or not to read. xD) Then, he talked briefly about this Russian kid who, apparently, at age 18, did about the same thing as me, and he acted as if he didn't notice at all (except he probably wasn't forgetting his song midway). Now, he's some great performer. I wasn't really sure what to do, so I just sat there and laughed with him... I think. Memory's not too clear. Then I played my second song, and my mind took a roadtrip in the wrong direction every time I contemplated how awkward it was that the note up there wasn't coming out right anymore. Also, I was trying a little to find out which note it was. But I couldn't tell, and I wasn't going to slow down and find out.
Alicia says it was the high D. Which just reminds me how everyone after me had to play with a string broken. Which makes feel
1. Crummy.
2. Embarrassed.
3. Awesome.
Don't ask, I have no clue.
Oops, I was supposed to not backspace, wasn't I?
lol, maybe next time.

Well, no LoL
for me, apparently. >.> Yeah. To be safe, I really shouldn't play anything without a pause button until Summer comes and I get all day to myself. ..and even then, I should probably wait until the house is empty.
Erg. So irritating. I've played twice, been busted both times, and now she yells at me for playing 'out of control'. TWO FREAKING GAMES.
She doesn't believe me. -.- Ugh, so irksome... Not much I can do though. Escape to an Asian party and download it there, perhaps. *shrug*' But for now, I guess I can do nothing but wait. Study... and wait. Study, read, write, do math... and wait.
But apparently I can't play.

Books
Oh, and btw, I have been keeping this list updated: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1lZZ_4gbUcisRs3s-a7Ax_oq5p6tli2shVOx-mRhfAXY/edit?pli=1, if anyone still remembers it. I dunno, maybe someone cares. lol, okay, no one cares about what books I've read on exactly which dates, but w/e. It's here. For some extra procrastination. Extra boring procrastination, that is.
French speaking exam tomorrow! Wish me luck. =P (And here I am reading about space opera...)

The Killing of Worlds
FINISHED!!! Oh my god, that was such a great book. I just wish there was a sequel, but I suppose a book with a perfect ending can't be too realistic. And that was extremely realistic. For a science-fiction opera. Wow. Scott Westerfeld should be praised. And then praised again. For Leviathan, Behemoth, Goliath. And now for The Risen Empire and The Killing of Worlds. Beautiful. Concepts I've never considered, never touched, completely clear. After all, this is the man that crammed WW1 into my head. Who knows how much quantum physics I've absorbed? xD
But still no spoilers.
But still no spoilers.

Have you ever been so bored
you read all of your old posts? No, I wouldn't think so... Considering not many people here have blogs. Well, one of you do, but that's just one. Which according to my clearly inaccurate poll, is one third of all my viewers. Gosh. I have no clue why I'm posting. I guess I'm posting to say that I've read my old posts.
Oh, also, I'm thinking about doing that no backspacing thing again. Shove a crumb under the button or something. But seriously, I'm thinking about it. It'd help my typing accuracy.
That, or make me look stupid. Probably the latter.

And now for the main event.....
Yeah, those last two posts were sort of rushed, weren't they? I was practicing piano at the time, so what do you expect? Well. I could not post whilst playing piano. I suppose. It's a possibility...
So in Flute Ensemble, we're practicing for our concert Wednesday. :) I really hope I do good. Cause if I don't, I'll be angry at myself for all of summer break, practicing the sun away. But I suppose that'd be good... wouldn't it? I heard at Enloe, they have chairs, so I'll have to audition again to get a good seat. And I actually want a good seat. Maybe 2nd? =\ I mean, I'm still not that good, so that'd be quite an accomplishment, and I don't know all the flutists in the band. There could be a virtuoso going to Enloe next year- I wouldn't know. I just know that Laasya's going, and that I'll have a rough time taking chair one from her. Haha, yeah, she's an awesome Flutist. *cough*'
French isn't riding as smooth as my forseen music career. I am quitting French after this year, so I'm not exactly trying my heart out, and my grade's a 90. Because of my latest quiz grade of an 86. I did retake that, but I don't know if the retake will help or hurt. I've only got 2 grades on my progress report- an 86 and a 94. I need more grades. Screw this, I need more quizes. >.< And I'm not getting anything. Except for the final exam. The speaking portion is on Thursday, and I said my first sentence in French Class (French sentence, that is), today. Yeah.... Not looking so good.
Uh, next is OM. Ooh, need to pay people. Right... Yeah, see, I keep on forgetting. It's a bad.. dunno, habit? of mine. Other than that, it's a free period. Currently, we just watch youtube videos.
Next is LA. You know the drill. I don't really have a problem here. There's a bookfair, but I don't think I'll buy anything. But I will plan a trip to the library- I saw a book that's apparently the series following the Ranger's Apprentice, featuring main character Hal, son of ... Erik, was it? Anyhow, I want to read it. I have a feeling I'm the only one who ever catches that pun.
Science! Yeah, they returned the quizes today. 83. =P Yeah... I should really start studying. Nothing much to it but that.
Then SS. We really aren't doing anything right now. I doubt we'll be ... oh no, we will. Yeah, we're in the Harlem Renaissance and people are presenting. It's kind of boring. I went today. (My public speaking skills are seriously improving O.o) Uninteresting. Yeah, so we'll probably have a test sometime soon. -.- Bummer. So close to EOGs too.
Math. lol. Okay, I seriously need to start studying for EVERYTHING. As in, I have studied for NOTHING. NADA. ZIP. ZERO. *whisper*Anymore?*whisperend*' *whisperback*Sorry boss.*whisperbackend*' So yeah. We're presenting Chapter 6 now. I'm going tomorrow oh crap the project... I need to go SOON. I'll hurry now.
Uh. Huh, okay that's it, bye, l8r, Hopefully the next time I've posted it'll be after I've studied.
Doubt it.

Who the heck
's first name starts with X? Well, Xavier, and Xan I suppose, but I don't know a Xan. I don't think... >.>
Woah,
haven't been here for a week. Huh. My past post was rather dreary, wasn't it? -.-
Anyways, who chose this background? =D I love this background. Gosh, it's just great. Beautiful background.
Uh huh. I should really appreciate the hard worker who chooses that background. Yeah huh. *nods head vigorously*'
Well. Anyways, something I've been wanting to bring up for a while but never have- when is the darn anniversary for this blog? I know it's older than a year now, and I just let the moment slip away. Oh well.
Hold on. *CLICKCLICKCLICKLINKCLICKCLICKSCANCOPYCHANGETABCLICKCLICKCLICKTYPEACTIONSCLICKCLICK*
Now how many of you bothered to read that, I wonder. xD
Well, woah. May 31st. Has not yet passed. I will do something special on that day, I will. Hold me to it, will yah? Mom's home, gotta go.

=\
Okay. What do you do when you're really tired, you compliment someone for something they did, but forget to mention someone else, and they hack into previously mentioned someone's account and see the comment?
It's probably not as bad as I think, but I don't know what to do with the situation. It's too awkward to approach, and it'll look either like I'm lying, or overextending myself for something that frankly, I'm overreacting too.
I feel bad though. -.- If you're reading this, I really do appreciate what you did for it as much as everyone else. I doubt you read this. I really don't know who reads this.
...Who reads this? Meh, the poll I have up isn't working out so well anyways. I'll put up another, please answer this one if you stop by- I feel a little weird talking to people while not knowing who I'm talking to. Like I'm talking to myself or something.
Not that I do that a lot. Yeah, definitely not. Haha. >.> *cough*' Bye.

Oops.
I forgot the Minecraft Survival Games. Yes, it was like the Hunger Games, how'd you guess?
4 videos for that. 54 hours and 20 minutes.
*fist pump*' Oh yeah.
(Yeah, you can probably tell, I've overcome the initial shock.)
Now I'm proud.
Epically proud.
xD

MY GOD.
SO. MANY. MINECRAFT. VIDEOS. O_O
Hold on, let me do a quick count. It's all of this one dude,
(well, mainly, I did watch a few random videos about stuff he didn't talk about
yet, there's like 3 other random ones)
Minecraft: SpellBound Caves- 30 videos, each around 20
minutes, just finished that one today. =D So awesome.
Minecraft 1.2 Adventure- 12 videos, each around 20 minutes,
All of his cats died in this one. =\ I was sad. Well, this is pretty cool, just
a plain old minecraft playthrough, without added plot or rules. Pretty awesome.
Minecraft: Tale of Kingdoms- 31 videos, each around 20
minutes.
Okay. All of his videos are around 20 minutes. Unless
they're explaining ... no, they're all around 20 minutes. Some of them extend
farther, but I'm not going back to check each one.
So anyways, Tale of Kingdoms, awesome, he has a castle and
stuff. This is the one where he's riding a pegasus in search of a pet turtle
named ... gosh, can't remember.
Man vs Minecraft - Season 1, 2, and 3. 14, 14, and 9 (still
'filming' this one) episodes respectively. Man vs. Minecraft. Title speaks for
itself.
Sorry for boring your here. If you don't care for this, just
scroll down, I'll have a total at the bottom.
Oh, there's just one more.
Minecraft Tutorials: How to Survive and Thrive... crap, hold
on, my interenet's shot. I can't see the rest of the series title. I'm going to
save this as a word document and post this when it's fixed. It’s 5/6/2012,
8:31pm, btw.
8:36pm
Oh, hah. Haha, oh geez I'm so stupid. xD I went to troubleshoot the internet and it told me that I shut off the internet connection. And I had! F11 also turns off my interenet. I don't know why anyone would want to turn off their internet. But that's what it does. You'd think I'd remember that button after accidentally hitting it so many times.
O.o
Not only that, but it turns out it's just called Mincraft Tutorials: How to Survive and Thrive. I could've SWORN there was something mentioning the version it was. Huh. Well, that's another telltale named one, and it has 49, count em 49 videos.
Google Calculator time! 8D
*whistles impressively*' 159 videos. Now, every 3 videos is about an hour... 53 hours oh my god.
Haha...
Wow...
That's...
I don't even know what to say..
I mean seriously.
Wow.
Just, wow.

I managed
to spell neutral wrong. >.> I spelled it neultral. Worse, I was copying the word from another (correct) source, and never noticed anything was wrong in the slightest.

Yeah...
Forget Avatar for a moment, will you? I realize that was a sort of cliff-hanger there, the closest you'll get of one from me, but what the hay, keep hanging.
I just finished the book, Halt's Peril. And I can't keep the excitement in. It was so. Amazing. I'm not ashamed to admit that I cried. Okay. Slightly ashamed. But I cried, out of deference to the characters, or just because I could not imagine the turn they had taken, or whatever. It was astounding. NO SPOILERS. Just read it. If you want. (I realize that I push people way to hard to read and watch the things I read and watch, but know that I'm just telling you that it's amazing.) SO AMAZING. And then in my dream last night (I finished the book at around 11:50 yesterday), I was excited about the book and babbled about it to my friends. Not the major plot and spoilers and stuff, but the other amazing things that are revealed. Unfortunately, I'm not doing that in real life, because major or not, it's a spoiler. And I hate spoilers. If you didn't know that already, I'm suggesting a brain check.
Other news!
Haha, can't. Too excited about how awesome that book was... There is no emoticon to express the sheer joys and sadness I felt while reading. But there are words. I just can't say them, in case I spoil something.
(But I have been watching many hour's worth of minecraft videos, on a side note)
Such an amazing book.
I really want to just spill my guts out and explain every ragged turn and decision, but that would ruin it, so I shan't go into detail.
Shan't. :D Blame that word on the minecraft videos I'm watching. No, the creepers don't talk. No, I'm not watching a weirdo who talks like a knight.
Hmm. On second thought, I kinda am. Except he's not a weirdo. He's a normal married man. Who rides a unicorn and is taking a break from his rise to kinglyness to find a pet turtle.
Completely normal.

This is a reminder to myself.
To post something about Avatar: The Last Airbender.
BECAUSE IT'S AN AWESOME TV SHOW AND EVERYONE SHOULD WATCH IT BECAUSE IT'S HILARIOUS!
I like Zuko. =D
Ooh, that sentence had bad grammar. >.> (The one in caps.)

I like Zuko. =D
Ooh, that sentence had bad grammar. >.> (The one in caps.)
Okay..
No. This background is awful. >.> I liked the Percy Jackson honoring Water background better.
(For readers who don't know what the heck I'm talking about, I have the background set to some weird black background with yellow, green, blue, and purple stripes/splatters. It looks horrible.
Took me a week to figure that out. Okay, 3 days. Wow. Time passes slowly between blog posts. Well, I'll change that.
Finished Twilight! And I feel the book has cursed me or something...-.- Seriously. And plus, the main character. Wth. Oh, hey, my parents will deal, I mean, I'm sure I mean nothing to them, just turn me into a vampire, and then we can frolic through more fields and I can watch you sparkle some more! Won't that be dandy.
That is seriously what Bella meant, in a condescending nutshell. >.> I feel sorry for that particular nutshell. Besides hating Bella, that book wasn't bad. Oh, but there's one more major thing I want to point out.
How the HECK. Is there a Jacob vs Edward feud? I mean seriously! Wth. This entire book centered around how they loved each other forever and ever. Either half the fans are complete jerks, or Bella has some serious indecision issues. What kind of love is that? Not that I know much about that, I suppose. I still think it's wrong though.
Enough about that. Hmmmm... In Ms. Church's class, Meghan and I (we had a project) created something called a Temperatus 1.0, which is this conveyor belt that would circulate food more productively through cafeterias, at the same time keeping the food in a good condition. Haha... I hated that project. Seriously. I hate invention projects, they drive me insane. The last one I did, not including this one, I had to squeeze the thing out of my brain, and it wasn't pretty. >.> I still don't know how I got an A. Having a partner helped though. Meghan is less perfectionalist when it comes to classwork, so she actually got us to settle on something and work on it. Thanks Meghan!
Okay. What else?
Ooh, elections. Right. NOLAN FOR PRESIDENT! 8D Oh, erg...
Okay, haha, something really embarrassing happened for me today. I am extremely 'pro-Nolan' for prez, and at the bus lane I was walking up to people I know to tell them 'Vote for Nolan!', and I accidentally said it to one of his competitors... Oh, haha, that was so awful. I really wish I could take that back. Geez, Emily, so sorry! Honestly! Haha...
But seriously, I am pro-Nolan all the way. And of course I'm rooting Cory for treasurer. He got the post this year, but then got in trouble and it was taken away, which wasn't fair. Well, it was fair, but it wasn't right. Or something like that. And apparently Daniel Liu is running for something? Not sure what, but I'll root for him anyways. I don't know who he's running against, so I don't really have a choice. ^^ Good to have someone to root for.
SERIOUSLY. Vote for Nolan. >.<
Not that many 7th and 6th graders read this anyways. =\ And 8th graders can't vote. >.> It makes sense, but I hate it.
Oh.. I need to play piano. One hour left.
Okay then. I'll just post, change this GOD-AWFUL background, and leave.

It was a
great book. :) Hated the ending though. >.> Too cliff-hanger-y.
But that was days ago. Now, (surprisingly...) I'm reading Twilight. That's right, Edward-Bella-Vampires-Sparkly Twilight. It's not bad though... Just too... lovey. I've never read a romantic book before this, so it's sort of new. I don't know if it's good or bad, because I have nothing to compare it to. But as my first romance, I don't think it's ...that bad. I'm not done with the book, so I can't judge it just yet.
Hmm...I've got a piano competition this Saturday. Bullard. I need to memorize Liszt and Gershwin's bios, and I'm nowhere near that goal. >.> Plus, I've got a project due tomorrow... It's going to be a pain. Group project- me and Meghan, and I haven't even started my half. =_= I need supplies. ELSE I WILL DIE. A PAINFUL F-INFLICTED DEATH.
It will be engraved onto my tomb- DEEMED A FAILURE BY CHURCH. lol, yeah, Ms. Church is my SS teacher. The project is to make a product/invention that we will 'sell' to the class. Ours is a sorta cafeteria remodeling. It involves conveyor belts.
I'm horrible at puns. o_o

Oops
Forgot to mention, Johnny Lin was the one who I got the book from, and who I will return the AWESOME book to. So, yeah, I guess this is a shout-out. So thanks!
AND...
I'm back. Like the new background?
...*doralikepause*'...
Oh. Well that's too bad, I don't care. 8D It's honoring Percy, see? Cause it's water. Or at least I think it's water. I found it under the nature heading, so it's probably water. Funny looking water. But it was better than that wavy one, with all the... waves. That one made my head hurt. WATER!!!

GAH
Percy Jackson. xD Finally got the Son of Neptune. I'm 97 pages in and I love it. No Percy in Riordan's books depresses me. -.- That's the nostalgia, right? I love nostalgia. 8D

And
it has been 4 days since I last posted. The orange is getting on my nerves, how about you? >.> Well anyways,
MINECRAFT. Haha...I know I'm a couple of years late, but I don't do this stuff until people have talked about it so long I just get bored and want to try it and it's really fun. ^^ Really really fun. I'm only posting because it's night time, I'm a wuss, and I don't have a bed yet. I guess I could switch the difficulty so there's no monsters but that's not good, right?
...nope, still night. I don't even have any ores, because I haven't bothered digging anywhere. All I have is a awkward looking house and some wheat. Some wheat that I don't know how to harvest- I should go look that up...
Oh. Just left click. Haha, I knew that. -.-
Bye!

Read
the tags, kiddies! When I've got them. Which isn't often. So when I do, they're important. xD Or I could just be hyper. That happened a couple times.
Anyways, I forgot to say that I went and watched a Broadway musical. Mary Poppins. It was pretty good, and hilarious.

If
someone had told me one had to walk around for ALMOST THREE FREAKING HOURS TWISTING AROUND AND AROUND ON THE SAME FLOOR MOVING ABOUT A FOOT EVERY MINUTE BEFORE GOING UP TO THE 86TH FLOOR I would've reconsidered going to the Empire State building.
But the view was awesome. And we took pictures. Lots and lots of pictures. So it was worth it. xD
We also took a look at the Statue of Liberty (up close, not just from the Empire State), walked far too long in Central Park, stared at old dead stuff at a natural history museum that every major city just would die without, and... well, I bought a One Piece book in Chinese in NY's China town. ^_^
..I can't really read it. >.>
But whatever.
And..uh. I would very give you all a detailed account on exactly what happened from start to finish, but I don't want to. But, I'm pretty sure half our entire trip was driving. It took us 2 days to drive there. e.e We started a smidge late (1:00pm) and had to stop halfway at some random hotel. I liked that hotel. They had nice beds.
Ugh, I need to cut my nails, it's annoying to type like this.
And we got back last night at 10-11. PM, of course. Not sure at the exact time, because my head was quite literally spinning from exhaustion. My braces have stopped hurting as much as before, but I still hate brushing them, and by the time I got all that stuff done, my ears were ringing so loud I could barely get to sleep. And also, I couldn't stop thinking about Cidel and Paul Seul. =D
Unfortunately, I cannot think of a good problem for him. >.< Seriously. I've got an entire world planned out, and characters and a military and creatures... but no problem. But the only problems I can think of would completely devastate him and then they would all die. -.- I'm sure I'll come up with something though. Sooner or later...
This should be the only mention I have of him. Publicly. And for the readers (all 3 of you xD) (I'm guessing) (I wonder if they'll make an app for that) (seeing how many individual viewers you have), Seul pronounced 'soul'. I dunno how you really pronounce it, but I'm not pronouncing it 'seal'. >.>
And that's about everything. I think. It's not like I'm limited to one post anyways. This is going to be posted like, right.......

I
need to have gotten at least an 82 on my last SS test in order to get an A this quarter. e.e Yes I am honestly worried.
Braces.
They suck. And hurt. And are painful. I hate them. HATE. SO MUCH HATE. Plus, I look like an idiot. >.> Thank goodness it's only 1.5 years. Ugh. I got them yesterday, and the pain has just begun. e.e Quite literally.
In other news, I have been attempting at lucid dreaming for a while. Not too much success, but I do have a faint recollection of acknowledging that fact that I was dreaming while in a dream. But it didn't really click, although I said it out loud. What ever. One step closer!
It's also Spring Break, for the clueless. xD HALLELUJAH! Yeah. Finally get a break from EVERYTHING. Me and my family are going to NY for a week, and Ellen's birthday. I hope I don't starve there or something. *can't chew anything*' *HURTS*' *GAH*'
Oh, and yes, I've decided to double up. So I'm taking C&C, biology, Calc ab/bc, band, chinese. That is IT. All year round classes again. e.e I guess if I really feel bad about not taking a writing elective I can stay after school every day. So basically, I'm forcing myself into this. I think it's a good thing though. I'll just join some clubs for the extra stuff.
OH. I'm thinking about creating a Go club. I think it'll be fun, but I don't know how well it'll work out. At Enloe. I'll be head. ^^ Should be fun if it works out. And I've got a sponsor who can get the boards and stones for us.
Alright. Later.

Alright!
So. State math contest was today. We didn't win. ^^ However, we placed in the three other categories, Alg2, Alg and Geo. More info on that if I get specifics. Oh. Rishi S. got 10th or something around there. That's quite a feat, considering we're up against the strongest high-schoolers every school's got.
And also, more specific to me, I have decided to take Health over the summer. Then I'll take Chinese, Math?, and ...writing. I think a writing class. It's still really unclear..
Bye!

Surprising
how I get 15 views after not posting for like a month. GO STUDY FOR THE EOCS OR SOMETHING PEOPLES! I hate that word. Peoples.
Oh, it's only been 8 days, lol.
Well, anyways, updates! I'm not going to bother going over every minute of my life from last post because... well, I've got homework today. Plus, State Math Contest is on Thursday and I'm woefully unprepared. I also have French Festival on Wednesday and I don't have my part of the piece me and Laasya are playing on flute ready for that either. >.> So I'll type as fast as I can.
RCHS results came out! =D Guess what? I didn't make it, and neither did most of my friends! Big surprise there.. Now I have to choose classes for Enloe. My parents probably wouldn't have let me go to RCHS anyways, since they have to carpool me. Or so they said.
So, schedule. Well, I'll probably take C&C class (CIVIL & CULT) which is two periods, two years, and counts for two things, LA and SS. Then I got recommended for Biology, which I'll happily take, and then Calculus AB for math. That takes care of the big four. However, I've got some problems with choosing my three electives, which I will now rant about. 8D If you don't care, skip this or something. Okay. So, basically, I want to take a couple things.
1. Chinese
2. French
3. Music Theory
4. Calculus BC <--skeptical on that but it'd be a fun challenge (not that pre-calc isn't a challenge already O.o)
and I have to take health. So that's 5 electives all year round and only 3 slots.
I ...might already have 2 Chinese credits. If that's true, then I honestly should go French. BUT I WANNA TAKE BOTH... *cough*' Okay. Music Theory...I dunno. It's an AP class and I want to know more about it. Plus... It'll probably help my piano. ...not very good reasons, but I just think it'd be a cool idea. And Calculus BC. =\ This one my dad thinks I shouldn't take. I probably shouldn't. Idk.
Well, I should go do homework now! (dang, I used a lot of explanation marks today...)
Bye.

So.
Came back from skiing last night at 12:30am. It was fun! Really!
Less fun was waking up at an unknown hour in the middle of the night and realizing your nose is just gushing blood (oops, gotta go clean up that pillow sometime) and then (after like half an hour) go back to sleep, only to wake up and miss the bus. And by miss the bus, I mean catch it at the corner before the main road and have it IGNORE you and just drive past like nobody's business. (Just felt like using that phrase, honestly I have no clue when to say it) And then at school I realized that \
1. My flute playing has gotten horrible and out of practice.
2. I'm still really behind in French and just got an 81 on a quiz.
3. My French teacher is so disorganized she doesn't bother to check whether or not I have all of the work. (WHICH I DON'T)
4. Our OM team is going to fail.
5. HORRIBLY.
6. NOT EVEN EXAGGERATING.
7. Moving on...
8. ...
9. The only class I'm doing fine in is Language Arts.
10. I got a 65 on the project for Science and lost the rubric promptly afterwards.
11. Then I lost the progress report.
12. (More on that later)
13. In Social Studies, I missed a question already on the first part of the test. (YES THIS IS BAD.)
14. I got a 77 on a homework assignment.
15. I got a 75 on a different homework assignment.
16. I got a 90 on the only homework assignment I can redo.
17. I slowly realized that I wasn't going to get all A's this quarter.
18. Our cafeteria is idiotic.
19. And stupid.
20. And slow.
21. And I hate the security guard that guards the line on the left of the cafeteria.
22. I think the feeling's mutual.
23. Hard to tell, seems she hates all Asians.
24. Or it could just be food-deprived irritated me.
25. Probably.
26. Still hate her.
27. I'm going to fail the Pre-Calculus test tomorrow.
28. I'm tired. (GEE, WONDER WHY)
29. I missed the bus in the afternoon as well.
30. I was getting another copy of the Science Progress report to sign and turn in for another science homework grade.
31. Told you I'd mention it again.
32. My piano has gotten crappy over two days of no practice.
33. I have 2 days until a competition.
34. I don't even know which songs I have to play.
35. I feel so dejected that I'm ranting.
36. On a blog.
37. With all of the points numbered.
38. That's pretty dejected.
39. >.>
40. K, I'm pretty much done.
So. Skiing. =D It really was really fun. Closest I've ever been to flying. (And I don't intend to go closer.) Since it was my first time, it was awesome going down the slope for the first time, and feeling how much control you can have over the snow.
Going uphill is annoying though. O.o Duckwalking hurts my feet. And legs. And irritates me. BUT IT'S USEFUL. 8D EVER SO USEFUL.
Haha, and the lifts are new to me. My sister fell off. =| Yeah..... She's okay though. It was at the end, right by the place you were supposed to get off. She was just eager, I guess. That and at the beginning of the lift, we were given an extra pole and told it belonged to the guy two seats ahead in the white helmet. We sort of got.. distracted talking about the white helmet guy and forgot to lift the bar, and then... Well, you know. She fell.
When I say we, I mean Adela and me. Adela. From my Chinese class. She's uh, shortish and Chinese and wears glasses and dances ballet. She's in chorus too, I'm pretty sure. Yeah. Well.
Oh, and we accidentally took a life we weren't supposed to (as beginners) and went all the way up to the top of the mountain. xD After we passed a hill and realized there was more up to go, I started freaking out. Haha, have I told this blog I'm afraid of heights? Well, blog, I am. I get over it from time to time... that wasn't one of those times. Haha.... So anyways, that was directly after our first lesson so I guess you could say we got a lot of experience from that. I know I had fun. It was pretty hard to me, but I didn't fall, so I guess it could've been worse. Haven't gone that fast on anything for a while though, so it was really fun.
Oh, directly after our lesson the instructor took us out of the learning slope by way of a steep curve onto the main course, and that's the first major fall I had. According to Adela, it was funny 'cause I just like, rolled forward or something. I dunno. I fell because my skis crossed and I couldn't get them apart and I was going faster and yeah. I think my left ski fell off. It didn't hurt though.
So, we took green paths down the mountain though, so we can't say we did anything no one else did. In fact, we stuck to the green the entire two days we were there, only going on a blue path twice, the same one, Cascade, and I actually made it the first time, but hesitated on the second and fell backwards, then tumbled down a bit further. It was fun. :)
I should probably sleep, so l8r!

Woah, big font. Testing. Testing. Testing. URG. TESTING. FINALLY YOU UNBOLD!!!
Well. Anyways, Yeah, that dream about the girl who took over the school, blah blah blah, school flooded, Cory found me in the boys bathroom, got switched to Mrs. Toussaint, had to do assignment which was writing a song... Well.
Last week in school, Mrs. Toussaint's students had to do an assignment. Guess what it was. Also, Mr. Armpriester's room flooded.
I'm staying away from the boy's bathroom. >.>
(I've been trying to fix the layout of this post for the past 15 minutes. >.< Screw this. *posts anyways* If it's too hard to read, just highlight it or something)
