So.

Came back from skiing last night at 12:30am. It was fun! Really!

Less fun was waking up at an unknown hour in the middle of the night and realizing your nose is just gushing blood (oops, gotta go clean up that pillow sometime) and then (after like half an hour) go back to sleep, only to wake up and miss the bus. And by miss the bus, I mean catch it at the corner before the main road and have it IGNORE you and just drive past like nobody's business. (Just felt like using that phrase, honestly I have no clue when to say it) And then at school I realized that \

1. My flute playing has gotten horrible and out of practice.
2. I'm still really behind in French and just got an 81 on a quiz.
3. My French teacher is so disorganized she doesn't bother to check whether or not I have all of the work. (WHICH I DON'T)
4. Our OM team is going to fail.
5. HORRIBLY.
6. NOT EVEN EXAGGERATING.
7. Moving on...
8. ...
9. The only class I'm doing fine in is Language Arts.
10. I got a 65 on the project for Science and lost the rubric promptly afterwards.
11. Then I lost the progress report.
12. (More on that later)
13. In Social Studies, I missed a question already on the first part of the test. (YES THIS IS BAD.)
14. I got a 77 on a homework assignment.
15. I got a 75 on a different homework assignment.
16. I got a 90 on the only homework assignment I can redo.
17. I slowly realized that I wasn't going to get all A's this quarter.
18. Our cafeteria is idiotic.
19. And stupid.
20. And slow.
21. And I hate the security guard that guards the line on the left of the cafeteria.
22. I think the feeling's mutual.
23. Hard to tell, seems she hates all Asians.
24. Or it could just be food-deprived irritated me.
25. Probably.
26. Still hate her.
27. I'm going to fail the Pre-Calculus test tomorrow.
28. I'm tired. (GEE, WONDER WHY)
29. I missed the bus in the afternoon as well.
30. I was getting another copy of the Science Progress report to sign and turn in for another science homework grade.
31. Told you I'd mention it again.
32. My piano has gotten crappy over two days of no practice.
33. I have 2 days until a competition.
34. I don't even know which songs I have to play.
35. I feel so dejected that I'm ranting.
36. On a blog.
37. With all of the points numbered.
38. That's pretty dejected.
39. >.>
40. K, I'm pretty much done.

So. Skiing. =D It really was really fun. Closest I've ever been to flying. (And I don't intend to go closer.) Since it was my first time, it was awesome going down the slope for the first time, and feeling how much control you can have over the snow.

Going uphill is annoying though. O.o Duckwalking hurts my feet. And legs. And irritates me. BUT IT'S USEFUL. 8D EVER SO USEFUL.

Haha, and the lifts are new to me. My sister fell off. =| Yeah..... She's okay though. It was at the end, right by the place you were supposed to get off. She was just eager, I guess. That and at the beginning of the lift, we were given an extra pole and told it belonged to the guy two seats ahead in the white helmet. We sort of got.. distracted talking about the white helmet guy and forgot to lift the bar, and then... Well, you know. She fell.

When I say we, I mean Adela and me. Adela. From my Chinese class. She's uh, shortish and Chinese and wears glasses and dances ballet. She's in chorus too, I'm pretty sure. Yeah. Well.

Oh, and we accidentally took a life we weren't supposed to (as beginners) and went all the way up to the top of the mountain. xD After we passed a hill and realized there was more up to go, I started freaking out. Haha, have I told this blog I'm afraid of heights? Well, blog, I am. I get over it from time to time... that wasn't one of those times. Haha.... So anyways, that was directly after our first lesson so I guess you could say we got a lot of experience from that. I know I had fun. It was pretty hard to me, but I didn't fall, so I guess it could've been worse. Haven't gone that fast on anything for a while though, so it was really fun.

Oh, directly after our lesson the instructor took us out of the learning slope by way of a steep curve onto the main course, and that's the first major fall I had. According to Adela, it was funny 'cause I just like, rolled forward or something. I dunno. I fell because my skis crossed and I couldn't get them apart and I was going faster and yeah. I think my left ski fell off. It didn't hurt though.

So, we took green paths down the mountain though, so we can't say we did anything no one else did. In fact, we stuck to the green the entire two days we were there, only going on a blue path twice, the same one, Cascade, and I actually made it the first time, but hesitated on the second and fell backwards, then tumbled down a bit further. It was fun. :)

I should probably sleep, so l8r!
